A local woman suggested Glengorm as the name. The name refers to the blue smoke that filled the air when the houses were destroyed on his orders. If you go walking in the forest north of Tobermory, you can see the Glengorm Castle.

There are a couple of lighthouses that you can see while sightseeing on the Isle of Mull. From Tobermory, you can walk to a lighthouse at Strangers' Point. Just head down to the pier and take a path along the hillside. The path can get narrow and may have a little mud at times. Tobermory is the capital of Mull. It is known for the seafront and the bright buildings.

Mull Theatre is a professional theatre company in Druimfin near Tobermory. They offer plays and tours throughout Scotland. It was known as the "Smallest Professional Theatre in the World" according to the Guinness Book of World Records.

The island has several different birds including the White-tailed Eagle. Whales, porpoises and dolphins swim along the water and can be seen from Mull while you enjoy a boat tour.
